Mild and wet conditions are expected for Thursday into Friday.
Rain is expected to be patchy and light for Thursday, but may become more widespread overnight and into Friday.
10 to 20 millimetres of rain is expected to fall.
The rain combined with the melting snowpack may result in pooling of water on roads and low-lying areas.
A cold front is expected to move into the area late Friday afternoon, which could produce some freezing rain.
The rain will likely change to snow Friday night and continue Saturday morning.
Portions of eastern Ontario, particularly near the St. Lawrence River could see significant amounts of snow.
