St. Lawrence College Board of Governors Approves Budget
A budget of $128-million has been approved by the St. Lawrence College Board of Governors for the 2018-19 fiscal year.
The budget includes a $2-million investment in strategic initiatives, and marks the final year of the college's five-year strategic plan.
The college says the funds will allow them to carry out initiatives to foster student "creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration."
"As we enter into our final year of our five-year strategic plan, we plan to continue our track record of success through innovation, improvement efforts and capitalizing on opportunities" says Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO of St. Lawrence College.
"We look forward to developing our new 2019-2024 strategic plan this year."
The budget was approved earlier this month.
SLC is also launching two new programs for the fall; Media Arts Fundamentals and User Experience Design, adding to the more than 100 full time on-campus and online programs.
