Teen Facing Several Charges Following Break and Enter

A local youth is facing multiple charges after Police say he went back to the scene of a break in and assaulted the home owner and her neighbour.

The victim returned home Sunday afternoon to find the teen in her kitchen going through her cabinets and medication but quickly fled.

When the victim went to speak with her neighbour, the boy, 16, had returned with two dogs and when she started taking pictures of him, the youth allegedly lunged at her,  pushing her into the side of the house while raising his fist.

The neighbour who came to her rescue was shoved to the ground, and struck her head off the tire of a parked vehicle.

The youth fled once again, and  Officers located the youth with the dogs, nearby but ran from Police and resisted arrested. parking lot.

Police say once the youth was handcuffed, continued to be uncooperative, banging his head off the partition wall in the cruiser and kicking the door.

The youth was in possession of several items from the victim including her laptop, a bottle of wine, and cat medication.  

The accused was charged with break and enter in a dwelling, two counts assault, theft, possession of property obtained by crime, and resist arrest.
