Teens Arrested When Observant Neighbour Calls Police

Two teens were arrested early Thursday morning after an observant neighbour called Police.

Around 2:00 a.m., a witness noticed his neighbours car had the interior light on spotted two youth, one with a bandana over his face, prowling around the residence.

Officers responded and located the two youths at Purcell Street and Old Colony Road.

Both youth were arrested and during a search one of the accused, 17, was found to be in possession of a knife, break-in tools, loose change, and a bong.

Officers discovered he was also wanted after failing to attend court a few days earlier.

He has been charged with theft, prowl at night, having a face masked to commit an offence, possession of break in tools, four counts of breach recognizance, and fail to return to court.

The younger youth was warned by police and later released to a parent.
