Temper Tantrum Leads to Charges for Kingston Man

A Kingston man, 44, has been arrested after throwing a temper tantrum and allegedly threatening to kill his roommate.

Police say when the victim returned home on Saturday and turned the thermostat down, the accused became very angry and starting yelling and swearing at his roommate, threatening to kill him.

When the victim went to his bedroom and locked the door to get away, the accused kept yelling and damaged his bedroom door.

The next day, the victim called the landlord to report the damage and Police say the accused became enraged and began yelling more death threats before Police were called.

The accused was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death, and mischief.
