Trio Arrested Following East End Collision
Two men, 23 and 38, and a woman, 33, face multiple charges after Police responded to a collision on John F. Scott Road.
Officers were called to the city's east end on Monday morning where it's alleged that the driver of a jeep intentionally rammed another vehicle.
Police say the driver then struck the female passenger in the head before punching out a window and fleeing the scene with his passenger.
Since officers believed both were wanted persons, the canine unit was called in to search for the pair.
Police say they were eventually found hiding in a small office.
During their search, another one of their associates was found walking on John F. Scott Road and was found in possession of a handgun and brass knuckles.
He was charged with possession of a restricted firearm without a license, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon, possession of a restricted weapon, possession of a firearm while prohibited, and possession of a weapon while prohibited.
The male driver faces charges of possession of a controlled drug, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, leave the scene of an accident, assault, mischief, assault with a weapon (vehicle), and breach of probation.
The female passenger was charged with possession of a controlled drug and breach of probation.
