United Way of KFL&A Announces 2018 Campaign Goal

The United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington has announced its 2018 campaign goal.

The goal is to raise $3,456,000 during the 12 week campaign, which wraps up November 29.

"Changing lives locally is the wonderful effect of the spirit and generosity that this community shows every year," says Fed Godbille, 2018 Campaign Chair.

The announcement was made in front of more than 500 United Way supporters and volunteers, at the Ambassador Hotel Friday morning.

"Although we focus on a 12-week campaign, United Way staff, volunteers and supporters facilitate positive change 365 days a year," Godbille says.

"As our agencies struggle to meet the complex issued faced by their clients, we are asking people to continue to invest in their community and, if possible, to consider increasing their gift."

Last year, the United Way raised just over $3.5-million which was invested in 73 programs that helped over 58,000 people in our community.
