Violent Altercation Sends One Man to Hospital
One person was taken to hospital with a police escort, following an altercation on Princess and Albert Streets Monday afternoon.
Kingston Police say around 5:15 p.m., a resident of an apartment building in the area left and when he returned home, he found a man rummaging inside his unit.
Following a short struggle, the accused tried to escape by jumping out a window.
He fell about teen feet and landed on some glass and Police were called.
Officers attended the scene where the man, 30, was initially treated by paramedics.
He was taken to hospital for treatment and then transported to police headquarters, where he's scheduled to have a bail hearing Tuesday.
He's facing charges of break and enter, and breach of probation.
