Weekly Traffic Notes: October 1 - October 9

Be prepared for alternating lane closures on the Lasalle Causeway over the next 10 days.

You should expect delays from 9:00 a.m. October 3 until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, and then again from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10.

Intermittent full closures, including sidewalks, are scheduled to take place from 7:30 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

Boundary Road will be closed from Sand Hill to 6th Concession from 7:00 a.m. October 1, until to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4,  to allow City public works crews to replace a culvert.

You can expect delays on Midland Avenue north of Cataraqui Woods between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, because of lane restrictions.

Periodic delays and lane closures continue on Highway 33 from Collins Bay Road to Coronation Boulevard between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. until November to accommodate construction.

There will be alternating week-night closures of the eastbound and westbound on and off ramps at Highway 15 and the 401.

Expect alternating week-night closures of the eastbound and westbound on and off ramps and east and west right-lane closures on Highway 401 near the Cataraqui River bridge 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. until Thursday, October 5.

The eastbound off-ramp at Sydenham Road and Highway 401 will be closed Monday to Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Delays are possible on King Street East from Barrie to West until the end of November, as Utilities Kingston crews replace an end-of-life water main.

Downtown, the intersection of Division and Colborne streets remain closed.

Division Street is also closed from Princess to Queen and from Brock to Princess.

King Street will be closed from The Tragically Hip Way to Place d'Armes from 4:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4 to 3:00 a.m. Friday, October 5 for a concert at the Leon's Centre.
