Youth Charged after Allegedly Pulling Fire Alarm at Police Headquarters
A Kingston girl, 15, is facing charges after an out of control weekend that allegedly ended with her pulling a fire alarm at police headquarters.
Kingston Police were called to a home Sunday about an out of control youth, who had been staying out late and allegedly coming home high on drugs.
Police say she also assaulted a younger sibling during a dispute over a cellphone.
The teen was taken to police headquarters after no suitable residence could be established.
While officers were in communication with Children's Aid Society, Police say the accused attempted to flee from the station and pulled the fire alarm.
She was charged with making a false fire alarm and breach probation, and was held for a bail hearing.
