Youth Charged with Multiple Weapons Related Offences
A teenaged boy has been charged after Police say he shot another boy twice with a pellet gun during an altercation at the Cataraqui Centre.
The victim confronted the accused over an issue involving a family member on Monday, and that's when the accused lifted his shirt to expose what appeared to be a black handgun.
The victim tackled him to the ground and was allegedly shot twice before friends intervened and Police were called.
The accused, 17, was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and carry a concealed weapon.
