Tracy Morgan Believes He Survived Accident to 'Bring Love'
Comedian Tracy Morgan sat down with The Hollywood Reporter’s Comedy Actor Roundtable to discuss his motivation and inspiration.
Morgan said when he got into a six-car accident in June of 2014 and ended up in a coma for two weeks, he emerged completely transformed. Now, the way he works and thinks about life is completely different.
"I survived the accident for a reason -- to bring love," Morgan told THR. "At least 150 times a day I tell strangers, 'I love you.'"
"We're just trying to make the world laugh," Morgan said of himself and his fellow comedic actors. "At the end of the day, we're just trying to make the world a better place than it was before we got here."
Regarding his TBS series The Last O.G., he said: "It's just kind. We need that in the world, kindness, and that's what I want to promote."
