CHRIS HEMSWORTH’S BAD TIMES AT THE EL ROYALE TEASER DROPS: Are you ready to join Chris Hemsworth’s cult? The 34-year-old Thor star showcases his shirtless torso in a brief new teaser for Bad Times at the El Royale. Hemsworth posted the image on social Friday. Drew Goddard directs the actor as he plays a charismatic cult leader circa 1969. "Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption...before everything goes to hell," the movie synopsis says. SILVER & BLACK HEADS BACK INTO DEVELOPMENT: Silver & Black, a spinoff from Marvel’s Spider-Man, was set to open on February 8th, 2019, but Sony is shifting it back. Tom Hanks’ WWII drama Greyhound will land on February 8thinstead. A re-write is reportedly in store for Silver & Black. Gina Prince-Bythewood is directing the film. Silver & Black will follow the story of Silver Sable, friend to Spider-Man, and a female mercenary / hunter of war criminals. Plus there's Black Cat’s father was a cat burglar and she is a love interest of Spidey’s.

HULU ANNOUNCES RE-ORG: Chief Content Officer Joel Stillerman and two other execs are exiting Hulu in a broad realignment of its biz, the company has announced. Hulu will reorganize into four groups: subscriber journey, technology & products, content and advertising. New leadership will be brought in to oversee the re-org. “By adding new expertise and capabilities to our executive ranks and creating greater alignment around our customers, we are positioning Hulu to grow more rapidly, innovate more quickly and connect consumers even more deeply with the content they love,” said Hulu CEO Randy Freer.

KELSEY GRAMMER JOINS PROVEN INNOCENT: Emmy winner Kelsey Grammer is set to co-star in Fox’s Proven Innocent, which hails from Empire maestro Danny Strong. The series is slated for a midseason launch. Grammer replaces Brian D’Arcy James, who played the the starring role in the pilot. The character is being adjusted and Deadline reports that the creators hope to recast James in another role eventually. 

LEGION RENEWED FOR THIRD SEASON: FX has ordered a third season of its X-Men-themed drama Legion. Two episodes remain in the second season, plus a recently announced extra; the third season would make a bow in 2019.
