Avenged Sevenfold Singer Becomes Playable Character In Call Of Duty: Black Ops
Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows is getting his very own playable character in the Call Of Duty: Black Ops franchise. The singer is featured in a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's next content drop, called "Operation Apocalypse Z," which was released on Monday (July 8th) through Activision and Treyarch.
During a Treyarch livestream, Shadows said that getting his own character in the franchise was a "career highlight." His playable avatar can be seen at the 2:34 point in the new trailer, when he and other Zombies survivors look out a window at an incoming horde.
"Operation Apocalypse Z" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and will come to other platforms later.
Avenged Sevenfold has kept a low profile so far during 2019 and will not return to the road until next year. A blood blister on singer M. Shadows' vocal cords forced the band to cancel a summer 2018 tour with Prophets Of Rage and Three Days Grace.
