Bill Cosby Joins General Prison Population

Bill Cosby has been moved to the general population unit as he serves his three to 10 years for sexual assault. The 81-year-old spent four months in special housing as he was allowed to get used to prison life in the SCI-Phoenix complex.

A state prison rep says Cosby has his own cell. Prisoners are permitted to spend several hours a day in the gym or exercise yard, the library, class or day room. Spokeswoman Amy Worden adds that Cosby has inmates assigned to help him as he is legally blind.
