Bushwick Bill Is Still Fighting Battle Against Pancreatic Cancer

Geto Boys rapper, Bushwick Bill, is fighting for his life as he battles with pancreatic cancer. Reports surfaced on Sunday (June 9th) that the rapper has passed away at age 52 following his recent diagnosis. Scarface, a fellow member of Geto Boys, broke the news on Instagram Sunday morning, uploading a post that said, "RIP Bushwick Bill." Bun B shared a memory of the rapper as well, saying, "He was, is and will always be a legend. God bless his soul and his family. There will never be another. RIP Bushwick Bill. Geto Boys."

However, Bushwick Bills’s son has debunked those reports, saying that his father is not dead. According to The Blast, he said, "Contrary to what has been prematurely, insensitively, and inaccurately posted – My dad IS NOT dead, he’s still alive and fighting for his life. He needs your continued prayers and support. Certain people have been so quick to write him off as dead so they can capitalize off it, and it’s messed up because yall really think these people care about him. There is no Geto Boys without Bushwick Bill."

Scarface has also deleted his Instagram posts.

Bushwick Bill revealed last month that he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

The Geto Boys canceled their reunion tour because of the diagnosis.
