LUC BESSON FACING NEW CHARGES: A casting director is accusing Valerian director Luc Besson of sexual assault. He has also been accused of “behaved inappropriately” with two other women, according to reports. The 49-year-old casting director claims Besson assaulted her “every time” she got in an elevator with him and asked for sexual favors while on set. One of the other accusers, an actress, claims she escaped from Besson’s Paris office on her hands and knees. Besson’s lawyer is dismissing the allegations. In May, another unnamed actress accused Besson of rape.
KIM KARDASHIAN WEST, KRIS JENNER TO DEAL CARDS FOR CHARITY EVENT: Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner have signed on to host tables at the “If Only” Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament from City of Home and The Forum, per TMZ. Winners stand the chance to bring home customized Callaway golf clubs, meet-and-greets with the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac (plus front row tickets to their shows). The event, held July 29th, will raise money for cancer treatment and research.
SOPHIE GRADON’S BOYFRIEND AARON ARMSTRONG DIES 3 WEEKS AFTER HER: Almost three weeks after Love Island star Sophie Gradon died at age 32, her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong has also died. He was 25. "There is not believed to be any third party involvement and a report will now be prepared for the coroner," police told E! News. According to reports, both stars committed suicide.

NICOLE CURTIS PLEDGES TO FIGHT FOR FAMILY: Rehab Addict star Nicole Curtis will keep defending her family online and in court, she tells People. Curtis is embroiled in a public custody dispute over her 3-year-old son. “As much as I would say that it has really not been fun having everything drawn out in public, I think it’s also changed the course of my life,” Curtis, whose show returns for its eighth season on Wednesday, July 11, told People. “Because God isn’t putting bad in your life without [a reason]. Sometimes, the storm is there to clear the path for the sunshine.” The HGTV and DIY Network star gets blowback on social media at times for her outspoken approach to motherhood, which includes continuing to breastfeed him. She shares Harper with her ex, Shane Maguire. Her ex filed for sole custody of Harper last week according to The Blast. Maguire is claiming Curtis is not a “fit” mother.
NETFLIX TO FEATURE 47 COMEDIANS IN STAND-UP SERIES: Netflix is ready to own the comedy space in 2019. The streaming giant has announced that it will debut a “stand up comedy event series” featuring half-hour sets from a whopping 47 comedians, from all over the world, set to broadcast in seven languages. The specials will tape at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, as well as São Paolo, Mexico City, Mumbai, Berlin, and Amsterdam. Among those being featured: Chris D’Elia, Neal Brennan, Nicole Byer, Nish Kumar, Mae Martin and Ellie Taylor.
