Devin Dawson Raises More Than $12,000 For California Fire Foundation

Devin Dawson wrapped his California Smoke tour last week, raising $12,463 for the California Fire Foundation. The headlining run spanned six dates in six different cities and featured a local artist as the opener each night. The tour was personal for the "Dark Horse" singer not only as a Nor-Cal native, but with two members of his family serving as California firefighters – his grandfather for 25 years, and his uncle for 35 years. A check was presented to the Foundation at the final stop in Chico, which will aid them in providing emotional and financial assistance to firefighters, their families and the communities they protect.

Devin said, "Having the opportunity to get back and give back to my home state in this way was very meaningful to me. Big props to my Dark Horse Family members who, from all over the country, donated VIP experiences and tickets to folks affected by the wildfires so they could come to my show for free. It was awesome to support a shared cause, have a fun night and forget our troubles for a couple hours."
