KANYE WEST’S YEEZY EXPECTED TO TOP $1.5 BILLION IN SALES: Kanye West has graced the cover of the latest issue of Forbes magazine, which revealed that the rapper’s brand is expected to top $1.5 billion in sales. Ye, who was ranked No. 4 on Forbes’ list of hip-hop’s wealthiest rappers, said, "I am a product guy at my core. To make products that make people feel an immense amount of joy and solve issues and problems in their life, that’s the problem-solving that I love to do." Kanye’s billionaire sales status is expected to happen by the end of 2019.

6IX9INE HIRES JAY-Z’S ATTORNEY: According to Rap-Up, 6ix9ine has hired JAY-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, to represent him in his ongoing federal racketeering case. Complex has obtained court documents indicating that Spiro has joined the rappers’s defense team. Spiro was most recently hired by Hov and Roc Nation to help 21 Savage with his immigration case.

OFFSET’S FELONY GUN CHARGE DROPPED: Offset of the Migos’ gun charge has been dropped. According to TMZ, the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office said that the rapper was cleared by the state of all his charges on July 1st. However, the charge as only dropped at the request of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, who are conducting their own investigation. TMZ also reports that the federal investigation is the only reason Offset was initially arrested. They also did not want to take the rapper to trial, and possible reveal "why they are scoping his activity." Prosecutors have declined to reveal the nature of the investigation, but the claim that continuing his state charges "would alert other potential future parties to the investigation and evidence that may support federal charges against said parties." The rapper’s lawyer says that they are unaware of anything regarding the federal investigation.
