LIL WAYNE SETTLES $14 MILLION IRS DEBT: Lil Wayne has settled a $14 million IRS debt. According to The Blast, Wayne recently made the payment to the IRS in connection with two multimillion-dollar liens. He was accused of owing $7,341,399.07 for a tax payment from 2011 and $6,853,545.77 from 2012. No additional information was made available.
RICK ROSS DEFENDS CARDI B: Rick Ross has taken to social media to defend Cardi B after an old video resurfaced where she admitted to robbing and drugging men. Ross said, "Leave Cardi B alone and the reason I tell you that is in a lot of circumstances, that’s what come with that lifestyle. She never hid that." Ross also addressed a controversial line in his record, "U.O.E.N.O.," where he rapped, "Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it." Ross, who loss his endorsement with Reebok behind the record, continued, "I needed to understand that I was a king—and they’re right, I didn’t need to promote that. The parties I attended at the time, where I’m from, that was the lifestyle." He added, "If you stole a car in the past, that don’t mean you shouldn’t get money in the future. As long as you change your ways and we all know Cardi B focused on the money now and she is a leader."
TEKASHI 6IX9INE’S FORMER MANAGER CALLED HIM AN ‘UNGRATEFUL RAT BASTARD’: According to Page Six, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s former manager, Kifano "Shotti" Jordan called the rapper an "ungrateful rat bastard." In audio where Shotti was speaking to 6ix9ine’s former DJ Pvnch from jail, he called out the rapper for snitching. He said, "This n***a, he broke every code and every rule out this motherf**ker. He’s an ungrateful rat bastard, man. It’s just that simple. But I forgive the little ni**a after all that." He continued, "Everybody might think it’s over. I promise you, they ain’t even heard half my story. My sh*t ain’t done. I don’t break, I don’t fold, I don’t bend." Shotti recently pleaded guilty to two weapons charges in connection to an armed robbery in April 2018 and discharging a firearm during a shooting at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. He faces a minimum prison sentence of 15 years for the two counts.
KANYE WEST TO BRING SUNDAY SERVICE TO COACHELLA: Rap-Up has reported that Kanye West will be bringing his Sunday Service to Weekend 2 of Coachella on Easter Sunday (April 21st). Ye made the announcement while boarding a light. He said to the passengers, "Attention 737 passengers. We’d like to make an announcement that we just booked another show. We will be doing Sunday Service sunrise at Coachella." Coachella later confirmed on Twitter. The festival usually kicks off at 11 a.m. each day, but Kanye is scheduled to perform at 9 a.m.
CARDI B PLANS TO ADDRESS CONTROVERSY IN HER MUSIC: Cardi B recently took to Instagram Live to reveal that she will address her 2016 Instagram Live session, where she admitted to drugging and robbing men, in her new music. She said, "I was gonna address some sh*t up in this b*tch, but you know what, I feel like, ‘Nah, f**k this sh*t. These ni**as can suck my d*ck.'" She went on to say, "I ain’t doin’ s**t.
