Hip Hop Beats: Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper & More!

TRAVIS SCOTT DONATES $100K TO HOUSTON-BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION: Travis Scott has donated $100,000 to a Houston-based non-profit organization. According to Complex, Scott donated the large amount to Workshop Houston, which is among several non-profits that participated in the rapper’s Astroworld festival last year. HipHopDX reports that Workshop Houston gives "local kids an opportunity to get into music production, dance, theatre, fashion and graphic design. It also provides tutoring and academic enrichment."

CHANCE THE RAPPER IS ASHAMED OF HIS FRIENDS ACCUSED OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT: Chance the Rapper has taken to social media to speak on his friends who have been accused of sexual misconduct. The Chicago rapper tweeted, "In the past 2 days I’ve heard too many stories of domestic abuse, sexual violence and rape perpetrated by ppl I called friends. I am ashamed of yall. These stories will be amplified and your victims will receive the justice they deserve." It is unclear who Chance was referring to.

TEKASHI 6IX9INE DENIED CONJUGAL VISITS: The Blast has reported that Tekashi 6ix9ine will not be allowed conjugal visits while behind bars. 6ix9ine and his girlfriend, Jade, will not be able to spend along time together. However, the couple will be able to see each other, as long as Jade adheres to a strict dress code. She is only allowed to wear clothing that is "appropriate for a large gathering of men, women, and young children." If she wears any of the items on their list of forbidden clothing during one of her visits, she could be denied visitation rights in the future. 69 and Jade will be able to have contact, though, with the Bureau stating that "In most cases, handshakes, hugs, and kisses (in good taste) are allowed at the beginning and end of a visit."

WIZ KHALIFA AND CURREN$Y ANNOUNCE ‘2009’ TOUR DATES: Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y have announced the dates for their upcoming "2009" tour. The trek will kick off on February 8th in Seattle, and will make stops in Denver, Chicago, Atlanta and New Orleans before wrapping up in San Antonio on March 9th.
