WENDY WILLIAMS WISHES EX THE BEST: Wendy Williams is doing her best to move on. Speaking to SiriusXM's Sway Calloway on his show, Sway in the Morning, she said: "I want a divorce and I want to be friends with Kevin. And not because we have a son, but because that was real love. I still love him, just not in that way. You're either in or you're out with me." She then threw shade on Kevin Hunter, who allegedly had a child with his long-term mistress: "I still love him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family." As for her own love life, she said that she is "back in the streets" and looking for love.

ANGELA BASSETT SHOWS LOVE TO AFTON WILLIAMSON FOR SPEAKING OUT ON SEXUAL HARRASSMENT ON SET: Angela Bassett has showed support for The Rookie star Afton Williamson for coming forward with allegations that she was sexually harrased and bullied by a recurring guest star Demetrius Grosse and was bullied and dealt with racist comments with hair department head Sally Ciganovich which escalated into sexual assault at a wrap party. Angela wrote in her comments via Instagram, "I'm SO proud of you and stand COMPLETELY in support of you. Speak your truth and speak it LOUD!" Meanwhile, ABC entertainment president Karey Burke told reporters that an investigation is underway, saying, "I wish I had more. We are waiting for answers… As soon as we learn more, we will make a determination based on what's found."

JUSSIE SMOLLET WILL NEVER RETURN TO 'EMPIRE': Fox CEO Charlie Collier has confirmed that Jussie Smollett won't be returning to Empire in its upcoming final season, which premieres next month. According to People, Collier said, "We as much as anything in case like this, you try to get all the information and make a good decision. Creator Lee Daniels is right, there's no plans for Jussie to return to Empire … typically it's about gathering right info and making sure we're making the right decisions." Collier added that there will most likely be an Empire spin-off, saying, "We're trying something out, and if it works, then Empire is over and we have a great spinoff. And if it doesn't, then Empire may not very well be over. But the intent is to have our last season with a great spinoff." ‘Empire' returns for its final season, September 24th on Fox.

OPRAH WINFREY SPEAKS ON BESTIE GAYLE KING'S SUCCESS: Oprah and Gayle are on the cover of the current issue of O! and Oprah is speaking on Gayle's success with her job at CBS This Morning. The new anchor is now bringing in $11 million per year. Oprah said, "Gayle is having a rising moment right now. After years of doing local television, including 18 years at WFSB in Hartford, she has finally stepped into her pinnacle role. Gayle adores all things news and pop culture. She reads multiple magazines and newspapers. The fact that she's experiencing such recognition and success for doing what she's always loved fills me with pride and joy. I know for sure: It's the same pride and joy she's always felt for me." She added, "Now that Gayle's a shining star on CBS This Morning, people often ask her how she felt being in the shadow of my success. The truth is, she always felt not a shadow but the light.
