Imagine Dragons Tops BottleRock Bill; Strokes Lead Governor's Ball Lineup
The lineups of two major festivals, one on the East Coast and one out West, have been announced. The seventh annual BottleRock Napa Valley Festival has revealed its formidable lineup, which includes headlines Imagine Dragons, Neil Young and Mumford & Sons.
More than 80 acts are set to perform at the three-day festival, set for May 24th through the 26th in California's Napa Valley, including lovelytheband, Elle King, Chevy Metal, Against Me!, Bishop Briggs, Santana, OneRepublic, Flogging Molly, Neon Trees, Pharrell Williams, Cypress Hill, Jeff Goldblum and many more.
Three-day tickets to the event are on sale starting Tuesday (January 8th), while single-day tickets go up for grabs on Thursday (January 10th).
Meanwhile, the bill for the 2019 Governors Ball music festival has also been unveiled and includes The Strokes, Florence + The Machine, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Nas, The 1975, Kacey Musgraves, Charli XCX, Major Lazer, Vince Staples, Mitski and more.
The ninth annual festival will take place from May 31st through June 2nd on New York’s Randall’s Island Park. Tickets are available to purchase at the festival’s site beginning 8:00 a.m. ET Monday.
The Strokes’ Governors Ball gig marks the band’s first U.S. show since July 2016. In addition to the Strokes, who headline the Sunday festivities, singer Julian Casablancas’ The Voidz are also booked to perform on Friday.
