John Fogerty Performing CCR's Full 'Woodstock' Set In Vegas

John Fogerty will recreate Creedence Clearwater Revival's legendary Woodstock setlist in Las Vegas. Fogerty is set to perform at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas between April 10th and 20th as part of his 50th anniversary tour dubbed "My 50 Year Trip." 1969 marked a major milestone in Fogerty and Creedence's career, in which they releasing their groundbreaking second, third, and fourth albums -- Bayou Country, Green River, and Willy And the Poor Boys.

Fogerty has just rolled out a dozen summer European dates for June and July. As it stands now, Fogerty will be making stops in Poland, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

John Fogerty recalls Creedence's performance at Woodstock as being one of their least memorable and attributes that to a few outside factors -- one of which was having to follow their Bay Area friends, the Grateful Dead: "I didn't think we stole the show. The idea when you go to play something big like that, there's kind of a gentle competition going on, and you try to do your very best, hopefully, y'know, be memorable. But our performance at Woodstock was kind of overshadowed by things beyond our control -- mainly having followed the Grateful Dead, and the Grateful Dead had put a half-a-million people asleep (laughs). We were pretty put-upon to wake them all up again."
