Lenny Kravitz Rolls Out Full North American Itinerary

Lenny Kravitz has rolled out his full summer and fall North American itinerary. Kravitz, who's touring behind his 11th album, 2018's Raise Vibration, kicks off the leg on August 21st in Vienna, Virginia at Wolf Trap. Kravitz will be on the road playing primarily theater dates through September 21st when he wraps up the run at L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium.

Kravitz is currently on tour in Europe and will next perform on Saturday (May 11th) in Milan, Italy.

Lenny Kravitz revealed to us that what sets Raise Vibration apart from all his other albums, is that both the songs' music and lyrics came fully formed from his subconscious: "This entire album was dreamt. I dreamt every song. I dream songs a lot -- but I've never dreamt an entire album, maybe a couple of songs (that) you hear on each album come from dreams -- but this whole album was dreamt. And it's definitely a reflection of what I'm thinking about -- what I think a lot of us are thinking about. Y'know, we're living in very interesting and trying times and I think we're standing in front of so many different crossroads. And there are a lot of questions to be answered and a lot of things to be said."

It's coming on 30 years since the release of his 1989 debut album Let Love Rule, and Lenny Kravitz recently told us he still doesn't care how many copies he sells or what reviewers say about his work: "It's not about what sells or what does this. It's about the experience. And as people, we don't relate to that. Everything in our society is based on how much, how big, how this, how that. What about just the pure thing of just doing it; The expression? The experience? People don't really talk about that. 'Well, if it didn't sell that much, then it's not very good.' And that's how we are. And we listen to critics. We let critics tell us what's good. And what is that, y'know?"
