Luann de Lesseps Ordered to Court Over Violation
Luann de Lesseps was ordered to appear in a West Palm Beach courtroom for a probation violation hearing on May 23rd, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
"I am looking forward to my day in court to present evidence clarifying these allegations," the Real Housewives of New York star told Page Six in a statement. After failing an alcohol test, the 53-year-old is in hot water after admitting to her probation officer that she drank "2 glasses of mimosas after a performance she had in Chicago."
The officer told her could enroll in outpatient treatment" but she "declined due to her touring schedule," the court documents stated. She said that wearing an ankle monitor was "too intrusive."
She was ordered to refrain from alcohol when she was put on one-year’s probation after her Christmas Eve 2017 arrest for assaulting a police officer.
De Lesseps has been in and out of rehab more than once and insists she is taking her sobriety seriously and attending AA meetings.
