Lumineers Share New Single, Set Album Release Date

The Lumineers will release their new album, titled III, on September 13th. The band has shared "Gloria," the first single off the album, which singer and co-founder Wesley Schultz described as a song about "love between an addict and her family."

III, as the title suggests, is the band’s third album and features the debut of violinist/vocalist Lauren Jacobson as an official member of the group. She replaces original violinist Neyla Pekarek, who exited the group in October of last year.

Co-founder and multi-instrumentalist Jeremiah Fraites said of the new LP, "This collection of songs worked out in a beautiful way, and I feel with this album we’ve really hit our stride."

The Denver-based band’s last album, Cleopatra, came out in 2016 and featured the Number One hits "Ophelia" and the title track. The group made its debut in 2012 with its self-titled first album and the monster crossover hit "Ho Hey."
