Nicki Minaj Slams Rick Ross For Disrespecting Her

Nicki Minaj appeared on Joe Budden's podcast and slammed Rick Ross for disrespecting her on his 2017 record, "Apple of My Eye." On the track, Rozay rapped, "I told Meek I wouldn't trust Nicki / Instead of beefin' with your dog, you just give 'em some distance."

During Nicki's sit-down with "The Joe Budden Podcast," she was asked who she prefers, Ross on The Game. Nicki then sounded off on Ross, saying, "Don't bring up that… Don't get me f**kin' started. Anybody that name drops a female to sell 250 albums, don't ever bring them up to me again. Outside of that, I look at people being stand up n***as and I look at who fold quick and who do clown sh*t for attention when they dropping an album. I won't even go there."

Nicki later recounted when she visited the White House with Ross, to meet with President Obama. During the visit, Nicki spoke with the former president on behalf of her then-boyfriend, Meek Mill — who was on probation at the time.

She said, "…I was the only person in your artist's corner when everyone turned their back on them? When everyone was calling them Twitter fingers and cracking up laughing at them… and, my n***a. And, I'm the one? I went and sat down in a meeting with Obama, President Obama, and Ross was there and texted dude after the meeting and said, ‘Yo, this chick is a keeper.' I saw the text myself with my own eyes, ‘This chick is a keeper.' She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation and why you're still on probation after all these years."

Nicki added, "And then you come out on an album, when it's time to sell some sell weak-a** f**king album and try to disrespect Nicki Minaj. What? And now you tried to disrespect 50, hoped 50 would respond to your nonsense this time? Boy, sit your fat a** down."
