Ob-Gyn Sides With Jeff Lewis' Surrogate

Jeff Lewis’ reported plan to make his legal battle with his daughter’s surrogate mother go away quickly and quietly has hit an obstacle. Dr. Lindsey Cafferata, the doctor who delivered daughter Monroe, has filed court docs that side with surrogate Alexandra Trent against Lewis, his partner Gage Edward, Bravo and the production company behind Flipping Out. In the filing, she claims she "heard Ms. Trent inform the show producers that she did not want to be filmed while she gave birth as she did not want her reproductive organs displayed on television" and that Edward and Lewis said they wanted to "film the birth for home use." The show’s producers also allegedly told her that "there would be no filming during the birth." Trent filed her suit in June, claiming she never agreed to have the process of giving birth filmed. She was also reportedly outraged by commits Lewis and Edward made about her vaginal grooming habits and the size of her vagina. In the episode, Lewis said: "If I was a surrogate, and I had known there was going to be an audience, I probably would have waxed. And that was the shocking part for Gage. I don’t think Gage had ever seen a vagina, let alone one that big." Lewis claims the footage that wound up on air didn’t violate the agreement. LEWIS SPEAKS ON ANOTHER RUPTURED RELATIONSHIP Meanwhile, Lewis is piping up about his ruptured relationship with Jenni Pulos. On Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Lewis said it was "possible" that he would become friends with his longtime business partner again, but unlikely after she reported him to Bravo for abuse. Lewis told Cohen: "when someone reports you for abuse to your bosses, that's kind of something that's hard to get over."
