Of Mice & Men Cancel First 6 Shows Of Tour Due To Unexpected Surgery

The band, Of Mice & Men has had to cancel the first six shows of their U.S. tour - so that bassist/vocalist Aaron Pauley can recover from an unexpected surgery. In a press statement, they noted that Pauley became aware of a medical issue on Monday, April 8th and had to have surgery on Wednesday and the that the issue is currently being evaluated.

The statement reads: "He has been advised that the absolute minimum recovery time is two weeks from today. Therefore, we're sorry to report that we have no choice but to cancel the start of our dates with Beartooth. As it currently stands, we will now be starting the tour at the So What Festival in Houston on April 27." Following the surgery, Pauly tweeted that he was "on the mend."

The canceled cities are Fargo, Sioux City, Wichita, Des Moines, Springfield, and Memphis.
