They are the only two singers on the publication’s annual World’s 100 Most Powerful Women list. Taylor ranks No. 68, and Beyoncé’s No. 50. In the Media & Entertainment category, Beyoncé is No. 6, while Taylor is No. 9. Others on the list include Oprah Winfrey, Shonda Rhimes, Serena Williams and Priyanka Chopra. ARIANA GRANDE’S VIDEO BREAKS ANOTHER VEVO RECORD; NAMED SPOTIFY’S MOST-STREAMED WOMAN OF 2018: Over the weekend, Ariana Grande’s video for "thank u, next" broke VEVO’s 24-hour record, racking up over 50 million views. Now, it’s broken yet another VEVO record. The clip has reached over 100 million views on Vevo – making it the fastest video in the site’s history to reach that amount in just four days since it was released on Friday. The clip, a tribute to the movies Bring It On, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls and 13 Going on 30, has also sparked an increase in viewings of the movies that inspired it. According to Amazon, streams for all four of those films increased an average of 33% each from the video’s release on Friday through Sunday, as compared to the previous weekend. Meanwhile, Ariana is Spotify’s most-streamed female artist of 2018, with 48 million-plus monthly listeners. Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello round out the top five.
