REPORT: BRANDY’S KENNEDY CENTER PERFORMANCE CANCELED BECAUSE SHE COULDN’T LIP-SYNC: Rumor has it that Brandy’s recently canceled performance at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. was reportedly axed because she could not lip-sync. According to The Jasmine Brand, an insider said, "Brandy didn’t want to sing live, bottom line. She wanted to pre-record vocals and lip sync instead of singing at this venue with the orchestra. Everyone around her told her there was no way she could do that. She became unhinged and ultimately pulled the plug on the entire weekend. We were told it was a combination of stage fright and her being a perfectionist. Whatever her phobias, you just don’t lip sync in front of an orchestra and she wanted to." As previously reported, Brandy apologized for canceling the show due to vocal illness.
