Report: Heather Locklear to Enter Long-Term Care for Substance Abuse, Mental Health

Heather Locklear will move from a psychiatric ward at an L.A. hospital to a facility that can assess her substance abuse and mental health issues on a long-term basis, TMZ reports.

Family sources tell the gossip outlet that doctors have been evaluating the troubled star since her latest arrest on Sunday after reportedly drinking a bottle of tequila, crashing her car and then attacking police officers when they arrested her.

Soon after she was arrested and released from jail Sunday, she was rushed to the hospital for an overdose, according to reports.

Doctors have reportedly determined that she is battling both alcohol and drug problems, but that her mental health may be the more significant issue for her.
