Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Incubus Set To Headline Welcome To Rockville Fest
Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Incubus, Shinedown, Judas Priest and The Prodigy will headline the ninth annual Welcome To Rockville festival, which will follow up its record-breaking 2018 edition on May 3rd, 4th and 5th at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida. Other acts on the bill include Evanescence, Chevelle, Starset, Beartooth, Tom Morello, Skillet, Tremonti, Badflower, In This Moment, Bring Me The Horizon, Papa Roach and many others. Drummer Danny Carey told us a while back how Tool approaches festivals: "It's this whole different vibe when you play at a festival. People have already had to go through so much, you know, especially if you're headlining. By the time you're on, you know, you don't wanna just drive them into the ground, you know. I think in those cases less is more, so we're happy just to play more rocking, straight ahead songs and not get too tedious 'cause it's not that kind of an environment. We'll save that for our own shows." , which is being sued by AEG, its former partner on the Rock On The Range and Carolina Rebellion rock festivals. AEG claims that DWP illegally shut down Ohio's Rock On The Range event and renamed it Sonic Temple under Wimmer's sole ownership, while also creating a carbon copy of Carolina Rebellion and renaming it the Epicenter Festival for the same purpose.
