Salmonella outbreak in 6 provinces leaves dozens sick
A salmonella outbreak in six provinces has sickened 63 people and 18 have been hospitalized.
Health officials says the cases have been reported in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Quebec.
The Public Health Agency of Canada says the source of the infection has not been identified.
Two deaths have been reported, but it hasn't been determined if salmonella was a contributing cause.
The people who became ill range in age from one to 87.
