Education Open House in Penticton
Parents and members of the Penticton community are invited to an open house later this month, hosted by the Ministry of Education, and focusing on student progress reporting.
According to a news release from the province, the open house is for parents to give feedback on how they want to hear how their children are doing in school, focusing on children in kindergarten to grade 9.
It's happening at the School District 67 office on February 21st, from 5 to 7 pm.
From 7 to 8 pm, a brainstorming session will happen, where parents will break off into smaller groups to share ideas.
If you can't make the meeting, you can share thoughts online here: http://engage.gov.bc.ca/yourkidsprogress. Those will be accepted until Februrary 28th.
