    ECO-BLAST is truly a blast! Can you imagine a bunch of kids singing I am the Future? Or dancing to Up Your Watershed? Or creating eco-art masterpieces? That’s the power of the ECO-BLAST Kids Camp & Concert, co-hosted by the Fresh Outlook Foundation and the Okanagan Boys & Girls Clubs.This year’s event features five-day camps in Kelowna and Lake Country for children ages 6-12, followed by a concert on the Friday evening. Campers will learn and perform eco-logical songs by Voice of Nature, and will connect with nature and each other through song, theatre, and eco-art. Campers will also learn how to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem by saving water and energy and reducing waste.

    Bernard Avenue in Downtown Kelowna will close to vehicle traffic on July 22, 2017 for the biggest Block Party in the Okanagan! This free community event will fuse culture, art, food, shopping and entertainment together, attracting over 15,000 to experience the heart of Kelowna. We'll have over 100 vendors lining the street with great deals, children's activities, dancing, music and lots more. The public is invited to move and groove to live entertainment on three street stages and fun outdoor activities for the whole family.

    Hosted by the Kelowna Golf and Country Club on their world-class course, this yearly event attracts over 100 golfers from BC interested in taking part in a few swings for a great cause! With the help of YMCA of Okanagan and community volunteers, registrants will enjoy 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner, along with incredible prizes! By participating in this event, your donation assists in supporting children, youth, and families from our community gain access to necessary resources through the YMCA of Okanagan. Drinks, popcorn and food will be available for purchase. Admission is free, but a kind donation to the Boys & Girls Club is encouraged.

    Feast of Fields is a three hour wandering gourmet harvest festival that highlights the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table, and between farm folks and city folks. With a wine glass and linen napkin in hand, guests stroll across a farmers field, traveling from tent to tent (sometimes through the barn, past the tractor or around the chicken coup) listening to live music, and tasting gourmet creations from BC top chefs, farmers, fishers, ranchers, food artisans, vintners, brewers, distillers and other beverage producers. Funds raised from this event help to support FarmFolk CityFolk’s work to cultivate local, sustainable food systems across British Columbia.
