Impaired driving charges after MVA
A 50 year old man is facing impaired driving charges after an accident Wednesday that closed Highway 6 for over 2 hours and left crews cleaning up hundreds of litres of spilled diesel.
RCMP Constable Jocelyn Noseworthy says police arrived at about 11 pm to the scene on Highway 6 east of Aberdeen Road.
A chevy pickup was heading west when it crossed the centre line and hit an eastbound dump truck.
The pick up ended up on it's roof.
The 50 year old male driver of the pickup truck, and the 26 year old male driver and his 49 year old male passenger in the dump truck were all uninjured in this collision.
At the scene officers issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition after breath samples were taken from the pickup driver.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.
