3.5 million spent on asphalt resurfacing

The City of Kelowna is spending 3.5 million dollars on asphalt improvements this year.

Sixteen different road projects will see about 40 kilometres of roadway resurfaced between now and October.

As part of the pavement program, bike lanes will be added on Bernard, between Richter and Ethel and on Ellis Street.

The City says 350 thousand vehicle trips are made in Kelowna on an average weekday.
