RCMP officers in Kelowna have arrested a pair of suspected drug dealers.

On Thursday afternoon, police observed what they believed to be a drug deal. Following the alleged transaction, police stopped a green Dodge Charger near the intersection of Cooper Road and Springfield Road.

After cuffing the two occupants of the vehicle, police discovered a .45 calibre handgun, a pair of brass knuckles, an expandable baton, a canister of bear spray and over 100 grams of various suspected illicit drugs.

30-year-old Cody Ryan Roberts and 33-year-old Sarbjit Sunny Nagra have both been charged with a series of drug-related crimes.
