Annual Fat Cat Children’s Festival this weekend
The 29th annual Fat Cat Children’s Festival is taking place from Friday, June 7 until Saturday, June 8. Visit fatcatfestival.ca for more information about the event.
To accommodate the event activities, Waterfront Park will experience disruptions on Friday, June 7 beginning at 7 a.m. and the park will be open to ticket holders only at 4:30 p.m. until Saturday, June 8 at 8 p.m.
The walking parade will take place on Saturday, June 8 at 12:45 p.m. The parade will muster out of Rhapsody Plaza and travel through Waterfront Park to the boat lock.
Starting Friday, June 7 from 7 a.m. until Saturday, June 8 at 8 p.m. the Dolphins Parking Lot will be closed. Additionally, there will be on-street parking restrictions on Water Street, south of the crosswalk at Rhapsody Plaza on Friday and Saturday.
