Bacon trial decision expected Monday
A Kelowna judge is expected to decide on Monday if three men accused of fatally shooting gangster Jonathan Bacon should have their charges stayed.
Jujhar Khun-Khun, Michael Jones, and Jason McBride made the request, arguing it's taken too long to go to trial.
A recent Supreme Court of Canada decision ruled trials must be concluded within 30 months after charges are laid. The three men were arrested in 2013 and the trial only began last week.
If Justice Allen Betton does not approve the application, the 10 month long trial will continue.
