Bait Car Buffoonery

Two men have been arrested in a dramatic take down earlier this week after stealing a Bait Car.

Wednesday morning at around 7:30, RCMP in Kelowna were alerted that a Bait Car had been deployed at a location in Rutland.

The car was remotely disabled at the intersection of Harvey and Ethel at a stop light, with the two suspects quickly exiting the vehicle and attempting to run away.

37 year-old Grand Fork resident Ryan Plot-ni-koff and 52 year-old Kelowna resident Michael Bartolo were taken into cutsody.

Both have been charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
