BC Wildfire Service has recommended an evacuation alert to the Regional District of the Okanagan-Similkameen for electorial area C and to the Osoyoos Indian Band.

Cause: Under Investigation 
The incident is currently under investigation.

• 13 helicopters 
• 5 heavy equipment 
The size is currently estimated at 1,250 hectares. Yesterday, crews conducted a successful ignition operation south of Gallagher Lake. Crews are preparing for another planned ignition operation from Mudd Lake, south towards McKinney Road area, if conditions are favourable.
