Go Fund Me for Kelowna man passes goal
A Go-Fund-Me campaign for the husband of a Kelowna kindergarten teacher, killed in a car crash last weekend, has already passed its goal of $10,000 dollars.
The money will help Justin Lloyd recover from injuries he suffered, when the car he was driving, was hit head-on last Saturday on Highway 1 near Bridal Falls.
His pregnant wife Tayah, a teacher at Anne McClymont Elementary, died at the scene.
Lloyd works as a fabricator for Multi-Power Products Limited, where co-workers created the Go-Fund-Me account to support him.
He continues to receive care at Kelowna Hospital.
