Kelowna's housing market is still hot

Housing sales and prices continue to outpace last year in the Kelowna area.

The Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board says sales in January were up 18% over 2016 and the average selling price of a home continues to rise.  

The average price of a single family home in the Central Okanagan last month was $606,000 - that's up 14%.

Condo and townhome prices are also up more than 16% compared to January of 2016.
