Knock on the door turns into B'n'E

Thursday, June 8th at 9 am Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a home on Riverside Avenue.

Police learned that multiple assailants forced their way into the home after the home owner answered a knock at his front door.  Suspects assaulted the man while others raided his home. The homeowner was injured but didn't need medical attention.

Police brought out the dog unit and Air Services to try and track the suspects while they fled on foot.

Kelowna RCMP Corporal, Jesse O'Donaghey says, “Our investigators have reason to believe that this was not a random act, that the break-in was targeted.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
