Man allegedly uses stolen credit cards to buy $14,000 worth of items
An Edmonton man is facing charges after allegedly using stolen credit cards at several stores in Kelowna's downtown area.
33-year-old Darren Bulldog was arrested on April 20 after Kelowna RCMP launched an investigation into the string of suspected frauds that morning. When he was arrested, officers found Bulldog with suspected stolen credit cards and identification.
Police say they estimate he purchased over $14,000 worth of goods and services using stolen credit card numbers.
He's been charged with unauthorized use of credit card data and willfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer, although there may be more charges as the investigation is ongoing.
Bulldog remains in custody until a court appearance on May 8.
