Man dead after falling from balcony in downtown Kelowna
St. Patrick's Day took a turn for the worse last night after a man died following a fall from a balcony.
Kelowna RCMP were called to a condo at 1329 Ellis Street near Cawston Avenue at 10:12pm. They say the man was found on a protruding second floor balcony, after falling from a balcony multiple stories higher.
Foul play is not suspected in the death.
“Investigators interviewed several witnesses at the scene,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey in a news release “At this time, police do not believe that foul play is involved in the man’s death. As such the investigation has now been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
