In 2014, 401 voters cast their ballots during the first advance poll, but West Kelowna Communications Supervisor Kirsten Jones says there are several thousand more eligible voters this time around.
The second advance poll in West Kelowna is next Tuesday, October 16th, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm - at the West Kelowna Lions Community Centre on Main Street.
General Voting Day in the civic election is Saturday, October 20th at four locations - the Lions Hall, Constable Neil Bruce Middle School, Mar Jok Elementary and Glenrosa Middle School.
If you qualify to vote - remember to bring two pieces of I-D, one with a signature and one with an address.
In Kelowna, City Clerk Stephen Fleming says 713 people voted at the first advance poll at Parkinson Rec Centre - and 253 at City Hall.
